At Challenger School of Sport and Fitness, we are excited to provide a curriculum that seamlessly integrates sports and fitness into our daily academic programs. Our focus is on delivering the California State Standards, while equipping our students to be innovative problem solvers for the 21st century and beyond.
Our dedicated teachers develop lessons that blend movement with academic learning, ensuring that each day includes Physical Education sessions aimed at developing essential athletic skills, teamwork, leadership, a positive work ethic, as well as promoting a healthy lifestyle.
After school, Challenger offers a rich array of activities for our students to explore. They have the chance to participate in a wide range of sports throughout the year. Recent offerings have included boys and girls basketball, soccer, cheerleading, volleyball, flag football, as well as engaging activities in robotics, art, and career development. We continuously seek to expand our after-school programs for our Champs, and our basketball teams proudly compete in an annual local tournament. All these activities are available at no cost, with participation contingent upon students maintaining strong citizenship and academic performance.

Our Focus
Challenger School of Sports and Fitness emphasizes the importance of living a healthy lifestyle and connecting active engagement and movement into our core instruction. We maintain high expectations in the classroom and in athletics with the ultimate goal of producing academic scholars. Our students participate in daily physical activities both inside and outside the classroom. Students have access to a variety of equipment to teach them vital skills in various sports and activities including: basketball, baseball, soccer, football, kickboxing, track and field, tennis, volleyball, disc golf, hockey, and many other sports and clubs.
